Goals and Objectives

Goals and Objective

I. To provide representation to paraprofessionals and support staff working in Utah Libraries.

II. To Include Professional Librarians in discussion forums and programs, to incorporate and learn from them.

a. To encourage mentoring opportunities in public, academic and special libraries.

III. To provide a forum for discussion about the future of paraprofessionals and support staff in Utah Libraries.

IV. To present one Business meeting, and no less than one Program at ULA Annual Conference.

V. To maintain a section of the Utah Library Association webpage including the following resources;

a. Current goals and objectives
b. Bylaws
c. Continuing education opportunities
d. A list of exploitable allied professional organizations, associations and institutions.
e. A bibliography of recent articles and books relative to the field.
f. A current list of officers.
