Agenda:
  1. Approval of September 28th meeting minutes - Amy thanked everyone for coming. The minutes were approved as written.
  2. Web Postings: The meeting minutes and goals and objectives are on the HEART website. It was suggested that any postings contain a date at the bottom of the page.
  3. Fall conference - Amy, Erica and Alice authored a MEDLINEplus presentation for the Fall Conference in Moab on Friday, October 26. Amy and Erica did a practice run at the Eccles Library on Monday, October 22 and made some suggested changes. Amy and Erica presented the talk and said it went well. About a dozen people attended; there were only 40 people registered for the whole conference.
  4. ULA 2002 Conference programs; proposals are due November 16, 2001 --- Each presenter will be responsible for getting their proposal to the conference planners and a copy to Amy.
    1. PEAK Academy fitness booth - Erica will schedule and arrange with Tracy Thompson. Erica will ask Tracy to bring a PEAK banner and ask her to consider selling pedometers.
    2. Toxins in the Environment - Nancy and Jeanne will plan a program related to resources, collection development and finding; maps of toxic areas, Utah issues, and the 5 top toxic places.
    3. Mental Health Information on the Web - Amy is working on this already
    4. No Show Activity handout - Jane Dotterer and Jeanne (will do the computer update)
  5. Poster Sessions
    1. International Document Delivery Service - Nancy Lombardo, Camille Salmond and Amy Birks will develop
    2. Utah Health Sciences Library Consortium - Alice Weber, Erica Lake and Tanya will develop
    3. Greening of the Eccles Library - Jeanne Le Ber and Joan Gregory (Jeanne will talk with Joan about doing this)
    4. 24 Languages Project - Liz Workman
