     Agenda:

 

1) Approval of the November 2, 2001 meeting minutes

2) Discussion of ULA 2002 Conference Programs
a. All programs and posters approved
b. Reviewed preliminary conference schedule. No conflicts identified.
c. Brief update on each program:
    Toxins in the Environment – Jeanne LeBer and Nancy Lombardo – Friday 2:45 – 3:45.  Progressing nicely. Have obtained map from FAIR. Have begun collecting information and resources.
    Mental Health Issues – Amy Birks – Thursday 4:00 – 5:00 – Amy reviewed her outline and the group gave suggestions.
    Peak Academy fitness booth – Erica Lake – 9:00 – 3:00 Friday – Erica has made all the arrangements. We will schedule helpers as the conference gets nearer.
    No show fitness activity – Jane Dotterer – Jane was not in attendance, so no update was provided.
d. Poster Sessions
    Interneational Document Delivery Service – Amy Birks and Nancy Lombardo – We will be working together to prepare this.
    UHSLC – Alice Weber and Molly Youngkin will prepare this.
    Greening at the Eccles Library – Jeanne LeBer and Joan Gregory are working on this poster.
    24 Language Project – Liz Workman has submitted this poster with sponsorship by the Special Library Section.

 

All members feel their projects are moving along and things are under control at this time. We will check again at our next meeting to be sure everyone has the help and support they need. We would like each project and poster to be publicized prior to the conference. We can use the ULA Newsletter and Email list to help with this.  Also, descriptions and times will be posted on our Web site.

 

Next Meeting: March 22, 3:30 PM, the Pub at Trolley Square
