- Sally, John, and Eve are going to Jackson, WY and
presenting at MPLA
- Go
Local update – Liz awarded $25,000 grant—Liz has
been approved to participate in the Go Local link for Utah that is on the
Medlineplus Website. She is collaborating with 211 and has a start with a
database of over 2,000 health services including Tooele and Summit
counties. Other Utah counties are not complete at this time. Liz and
others who work and volunteer with her will research counties to find
services to add to make Go Local for Utah counties complete. Liz is asking
for volunteers to take smaller Utah counties and research health/public
services to add. There are tools to help the researchers and duplicate
entries will be minimized as well. When the Go Local site for Utah is live
then the best place to start is the county and find what is already
entered and then research the county to find more information to add. Eve
volunteered to take Grant and maybe San Juan...Thanks Eve. As the project
becomes live more volunteers will be organized.
