    • From Concept to Corporation: Information Resources for Small Businesses: Librarians may not be a good place to look for investment capital, but we do have something every would-be entrepreneur needs just as much: Information.     • Tips for Locating Information on Private Companies and Local Businesses: Locating Information about a particular company or industry is a common request. Finding Information about publicly traded company is relatively easy, but looking for information about privately-owned or local companies is often more difficult. Privately-owned companies do not face the same disclosure requirements as those for held publicly and local companies are not usually included in the standard, national sources. However, there are resources available that have information about local and privately-owned companies. This presentation will focus on websites, databases, and printed resources where this information may be found.
