Objectives

Welcome to the Archives, Manuscripts, and Special Collections (AMSC) Roundtable. The AMSC Roundtable is a subsidiary unit of ULA, serving librarians with a professional interest in archives and special collections issues.

The objectives of AMSC are to:

- Provide a program at which the discussion of common problems and concerns of librarians working or interested in archives, manuscript repositories or special collections libraries may occur.

- Provide a forum for presenting papers, panel discussions or other activities concerning any aspect of archives, manuscript repositories or special collections libraries.

- Increase communication between library administrators, curators, archivists, catalogers, bibliographers, and others who have an interest in archives, manuscript repositories or special collections libraries.

- Contribute to the general knowledge of archives, manuscript repositories and special collections libraries in the state of Utah.
