Online Seminar Thursday: How to Handle Legal Reference Questions

Do your patrons ask you for legal information or advice? Are you unsure how to respond to these questions? If so, sign up for How to Handle Legal Reference Questions this Thursday, August 2nd from 1:30 to 2:30 pm at your computer. This class is being offered through the Utah State Library's Thursdays Online Series. 

Legal reference questions can seem more challenging than traditional reference questions. In this training you will learn about free legal information resources on the Internet. We will show you how to instruct patrons in using these resources and give you tips for addressing legal reference questions without providing legal advice.
