The Conference theme is Living Libraries: Remembering our Past Planning our Future. We are currently in the infancy of a living web, where authorship and publishing models are moving from a select few to a global community. As living libraries move into the age of a living web, we as librarians need to consciously plan our future. Historically librarians have been the keepers of recorded human knowledge. What responsibilities will be ours in a living web environment? Can we maintain the historical values, missions, and roles of librarianship as we move toward the future? Please join us at this year’s conference for lively programs and discussion.
