J. Larry Richards will explore the link between the "Big Information Fish" and the marketing challenges/opportunities librarians face today to get the word out in a speech titled "It Ain't Your Mother's Library Any More!"
Larry has recently launched a new career as a Business Instructor at LDS Business College in Salt Lake City teaching Electronic Commerce, Sales and Customer Relations, Business Law, Economics, Entrepreneurship. He has been active in the financial services industry for twenty-five years as President/CEO and Director of four banks and CEO of a California based life insurance company. Larry is a frequent speaker at financial services and civic events.
