I would like to personally welcome you to Ogden and to Northern Utah and hope you stay in the area is a pleasant one. The theme of on conference is "Expanding our communities...Embracing our partners...Enriching our profession." Our programming board and our conference committee under the leadership on Randy Mueller, Weber County Library have truely created a wonderful mix of programs that we hope will enrich you professionally. This conference and the Utah Library Association could not function without the help of the many volunteers who spend hours and hours working for their fellow librarians. I cannot hope to thank everyone by name, but I want the ULA board, the programming board, and the 2000 conference committee to know how much I appreciate them and all their excellent work. I would also hope that you as fellow members of ULA, would take a moment and thank the presenters and organizers of this great event.
