Utah Library Association Annual Conference

The ULA Board is pleased to announce that the Hindmarsh Professional Development Fund is accepting applications from Utah librarians for financial assistance to attend the upcoming annual conference in Ogden. It is expected that four to six stipends may be available to underwrite portions of an individual's conference expenses. Library staff and trustees currently employed by, or associated with, a library in Utah may apply for a grant. Top consideration will be given to first-time conference attenders and to persons with limited opportunities for professional development. Applications must be received by April 1, 2000. They will be reviewed by the members of the ULA Professional Development Committee and winners will be notified by April 15.
